Steigenberger Golf Resort - El Gouna.

In collaboration with Orascom Development, Lightix delivered a comprehensive outdoor and facade lighting solution for the Steigenberger Golf Resort, following its major 2023 renovation. Designed by the award-winning architect Michael Graves, the resort’s unique Nubian-inspired architecture—characterized by red-brick domes, arched windows, and vaulted ceilings—required a lighting strategy that preserves its regional soul while integrating modern performance. Our scope involved the supply of high-precision exterior LED systems that wash the resort's iconic "truncated pyramid" tower and domed facades in a warm, dignified glow, emphasizing their geometric depth against the Red Sea night. For the landscape, we implemented corrosion-resistant pathway lighting and lagoon-edge accents engineered to withstand the saline air of El Gouna, ensuring a safe and serene environment that complements the resort's signature championship golf course and tranquil waterfront setting.
