In one of Egypt’s most culturally and spiritually significant projects, Lightix engineered a transformative facade lighting solution for the historic Al Hussein Mosque. Located in the heart of Fatimid Cairo, the mosque required a lighting design that respects its sacred atmosphere while celebrating its intricate Islamic architecture and towering minarets. Our team implemented a sophisticated array of narrow-beam LED projectors and warm-toned linear grazers, specifically calibrated to highlight the texture of the stonework and the delicate geometric carvings without causing light spill or glare. The system was designed to provide a dignified, ethereal glow that enhances the mosque’s prominence within the bustling El-Hussein district, ensuring this landmark remains a serene and visually stunning beacon of heritage and faith throughout the night.
